Privacy & Terms of Service
The short version: don't be a jerk, and move the world toward heaven. The longer version is below, in plain language.
What DentalConfig is
DentalConfig is a tool that helps dental practices organize technology decisions — Wi-Fi, filtering, security, phones, floor-plan-driven equipment, and the like. It takes information that's essentially public and everyday, and arranges it in a useful, convenient place so you can make good choices and hand a clean plan to whoever installs and supports your systems.
It's a planning and organizing tool. It is not a medical records system, and it is not part of your clinical software.
No confidential or protected data — please
If you wouldn't be comfortable with it living in an ordinary planning document, it doesn't belong here. Please keep patient information in the systems designed and regulated to hold it.
Your information & privacy
- We store the basics you give us: your name and email (for sign-in), your practice or organization details, and the answers you enter in the worksheets.
- We use that information only to run the tool for you — generate your playbook, email your configs where you tell us to, and let the people you invite collaborate.
- We sign you in through Google or Microsoft. We never see or store your password.
- We don't sell your information. We share it only with the people and IT partners you choose to bring into your workspace.
- You can edit or remove your details at any time in Admin & Settings, or ask us to delete your account.
Using DentalConfig in good faith
- Use the tool honestly and for its intended purpose — guiding real technology decisions for dental practices.
- Don't abuse, disrupt, or try to break the service, and don't misrepresent who you are or who you work for.
- Only invite people who should have access to your workspace, and respect the access others give you.
The tool is provided as-is
DentalConfig is offered as-is, without warranty of any kind. Its recommendations are a helpful starting point, not a guarantee — always apply professional judgment and confirm details with your installers and vendors before you buy or deploy anything.
Fair use, fairly enforced
We may revoke access for misuse. If a decision ever seems unfair, write to us — we're reasonable people and we'd rather sort it out than lose a good neighbor.
Changes
If we materially change these terms, we'll note a new date at the top and ask you to agree again the next time it matters.
